I went in because the brake lamp warning light was on in my old 92 Honda Prelude. I was expecting to be a $300-$400 repair as I thought the warning light meant my brakes were going, only to be told by them when they called that all it was was an indicator that my brake tailight bulb was burned out and needed to be replaced. Total charge was only $65! They could EASILY have made me thing it something worse and I would have believed it. Top marks for honesty and the overall customer service by both guys in the shop I spoke to, sorry that I don't remember their names.

I went to Spiteri‘s to get a smog check on my car. The entire staff was very pleasant and very professional. They explained all the paperwork to me and my car was finished in about a half an hour. They were very efficient! This is my second smog check there, and probably won’t be the last.

I wasn't always willing to leave a good review. What I thought would be a quick fix turned into a three week affair. They clearly misdiagnosed the problem not once but twice. Ultimately however they didn't charge me for what I considered to be their mistake, they offered me a rental car and confirmed my belief that they are honest business people who gave me honest answers and stood behind their service.

Extremely good value for test only smog check. It is increasingly hard to find a place to smog your older car without the shop trying to hold your registration hostage.

$450 for ac diagnostics and he’s not sure what kind the car takes but he’s comfortable to give a price! I wanted to show him the report on the car What needs to be done and he didn’t care for that! He could ask $450 for a diagnose then he can estimate it for $5000 $6000. He doesn’t care he made his money already. If you see somebody changing bolts, You can’t call him Mechanic right the way.

We never want to guess when it comes to diagnosing an automotive air conditioning system, especially on a modern car such as your Tesla. Modern A/C systems are complex and require specialized equipment and testing to accurately determine the cause of the problem. The issue could range from a refrigerant leak or electrical fault to a compressor or control system concern, and the correct refrigerant and repair can only be confirmed after a proper inspection. Rather than providing an estimate based on assumptions, we believe our customers deserve an accurate diagnosis before any repairs are recommended. As you stated in the other review, your car did not need all the components Tesla guessed it would need. That's why we charge for diagnostic testing. I replaced front suspension (shock struts) plus required wheel alignment on my Lexus IS250. Job was done well and completed in less than 24 hours. They also have Shuttle service and dropped me off back to my residence. In addition, Spiteti’s pricing was significantly better than 2 other shops in the area. 1. This was my second routine maintenance visit to Spiteri's. They offer pickup and delivery services. For an 79 y/o woman this was beyond valuable! Service was quick and easy with very kind and polite drivers. The staff at the front desk were very kind and professional. During the day I had a couple of phone calls, i.e. such as rodent droppings in my engine. They notified me with potential problems and all were corrected when the car was returned to me. 2. Prices were very reasonable. 3. After 2 visits this is now my 'go-to' shop. As an elderly female I feel as though I was treated as a valued customer with courtesy and honestly. Thank you Spiteri.
